Description

i was thinking of naming the species vilox, vilphox
errr other name suggestions? xDDDD

you know cause they're poisonous

anyway these are the four body types and a little thingie i wrote about them

Appearance

Viphox are omnivorous creatures who normally live in mountains, in flat grasslands, in deserts and in tropical rainforests. Their fur and feelers adjust to the environment they're living in, so they don't have to worry about weather issues.

Viphox have a dragon-like body with basic canine anatomy. They have furry chests and grow more hair when it's winter. Only desert types don't have any chest fur.

One of their most important traits are the sacs on their cheeks. It works somewhat like a frog's, Viphox breathe in really deep and release it all at once to make a sound. That is basically their language when communicating to eachother. It sounds like squeaks.

The same sac is also used to scare off other predatory creatures. A gland inside it produces toxic gas, and when the Viphox blows it activates and spills out. It 'eats' away the target's body over time and damages their lungs permanently. It also stings for around an hour.

The feelers are commonly used like a cat's. They 'feel' where they go at night. Viphox are not nocturnal though. In rare cases, a Viphox has luminescent feelers.

Feeler types

-Desert - Very sharp and dynamic. Have hairy tips.

-Mountain - Long and straight. Have sharp hard tips so they won't break off.

-Grassland - The standard type of feelers. Have hairy tips.

-Tropical forest - Curly and long. Have hairy tips.

Fur types

           - Desert - Only fur on the back to protect it against the sun.

           - Mountain - Fur on its entire body minus its feet to keep warm.

           - Grassland - Standard fur type. A very fluffy chest to protect the lungs.

           - Tropical forest - Standard fur type, but directed downwards so that water/moisture/tree sap doesn't get stuck in it.
